C-Shift


Warrant Arrest/200 blkW 1st-Officers responded for a report of a male subject who
had climbed a tree and would not come down. On arrivalOfficers found the male was
being detained by one of the home owners' neighbors. The male appeared to be under
the influence of something and was very paranoid. When asked he stated he had been
chased by some subjects and climbed the tree after running from them to get away. He
stated he had been in the tree since about 0630. Based on that information, he had been in the tree for over 6 hours. He was found to have a warrant and was arrested,
cleared at KGH and booked at the BCSO Jail.

Assault DV/Steptoe & Victoria- Multiple witnesses reported seeing a male punching
and choking a female in the area. On arrivalthe male was seen arguing with his
girlfriend. Both were uncooperative, however, as a result of the witness statements the
male was arrested and booked at the BCSO Jail. One witness stated the incident was so
bad that they thought it was an attempted kidnapping.


A-Shift

Theft/2000 blk W 9thAve- Complainantreported that her Schwinn bicycle was stolen
from her driveway this evening. The theft occurred between 1845 and 1910 hours. The
bike is purple in color. No witnesses or suspects have been identified.


Attended Death/3800 blk SQuincy Pl-Officers assisted medics at this address with a
breathing stoppage. Female was at home with her husband and collapsed in the living
room. Medics were unable to revive her despite several minutes of CPR. Coroner
arrived and concluded death appeared to be a result of ongoing medical conditions.

Accident FTS & ID/1800 blk W 4thAve- Complainant reported that sometime between
1700 hours and 1900 hours this evening, an unknown vehicle crashed into a chain link
fence surrounding her property. She had been inside her home at the time of the crash,
but did not hear it. No witnesses could be identified. The fence is actually owned by
the Kennewick Housing Authority. KHA advised they would review the video footage
and provide a copy when available.


Dumping/40thAve & Zintel Way- A passerby noticed a boat and other property dumped
in a field near this intersection. A 20 foot boat and 2 bed mattresses were located. Hull
information was obtained from the boat, which was last registered in 1996 out of
Oregon. The Oregon State marine division was contacted, but could not obtain archived
information during the weekend. Follow up to continue.
