OTHELLO, Wash. -- A former Othello elementary teacher accused of molesting one of her students may take a plea deal.
Scootney Springs Elementary teacher Lisa Davis was in an Adams County courtroom Monday morning.
Court officials say Davis is expected to change her plea in another court appearance on September 16th. Davis entered a not guilty plea to one count of 1st degree child molestation.
Sources tell NBC Right Now's sister station, KHQ in Spokane, that attorney's are working on a plea deal for Davis.
Davis' attorney would not confirm if a deal is in the works. The details of a potential plea deal are not known at this point. Davis' attorney also would not say what his client will be changing her plea too.
Calls to Adams County prosecutor Randy Flyckt were not returned.
