UPDATE (9/16/2013 @ 11:30 a.m.): Benton County Sheriff's Detectives have arrested another man linked to the stabbing death of a Benton City man on the night of September 8th.

Detectives have arrested 19-year-old Tyler Lynn Isom for possession of a stolen firearm.  They say the gun was taken from Michael Edwards' home after he was allegedly murdered by Noah Matlack and Noel Gonzalez.

The investigation into the murder of Edwards is still active.

Noel Gonzalez will appear in Benton County Court Monday afternoon for a hearing.  Matlack is still in Umatilla County Jail and will appear in court on October 17th for an extradition hearing.

UPDATE: KENNEWICK, Wash.-  Two teenagers now face first degree murder charges.

They're accused of stabbing and killing a Benton City man last weekend.

18-year-old Noah Matlack and 19-year-old Noel Anthony Gonzalez are accused of murdering 55-year-old Michael Edwards.

Edwards was found Monday near the Assembly of God church in Benton City.

An autopsy revealed Edwards was stabbed multiple times and his throat had been cut.

Court documents show that Matlack told investigators that Edwards owed him $2500 and that Matlack planned to kill Edwards if he didn't pay up.

Police in Stanfield, Oregon found the two suspects trying to sell some rare coins at a truck stop and arrested them when they learned the coins belonged to Edwards.

Benton County Deputy Joe Lusignan said, "He had heard that there were potential suspects missing out of Benton City and that there had been a homicide in Benton City.  He called back to the department here to try and get more information.  With the more information that he was able to develop and with these two individuals... The light bulb went off and then they were taken into custody.  So, it was good police work in this young man's case. "

Matlack and Gonzalez are currently being held in the Umatilla County Jail.

Authorities are working to extradite them back to Benton County.
