KENNEWICK, Wash. - Time is running out for you to check out the 2013 Parade of Homes.
This year's parade features 26 houses throughout the Tri-Cities and is hosted by the Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities. They're divided into four categories based on the size of the home and cost anywhere from $200,000 to over $1 million dollars to build and furnish.
The event is hosted by the Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities.
Organizers say the purpose of the event is to show-off what's new in the building industry, whether it be new designs, home electronics or homeowners personal touches.
"It's packed. We talk to a lot of people and there's lots of questions, so I give them the spiel of what the low down is--the pros and cons of each of the materials and they seem to really enjoy that. It's just a lot of interaction," said Stephenie Monson, a home builder for Valiant Homes.
Parade of Homes is Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at any Circle K in the Tri-Cities.
