KHQ.COM - A wall of dust & high winds hit the Spokane area at about 9:00pm on Sunday night. Our friends from all over the Inland Northwest have been posting photos on our KHQ Facebook wall of the dust storm. Our region also experienced lightning along with thunderstorms on Sunday night. On Monday expect partly cloudy, blustery & dusty conditions. High temperatures nose-dive into the 70's…Low/High 59°/74°

Monday: After some wild weather last night conditions will be much calmer, but cooler, today. Still some isolated showers are possible, mostly before noon. The one constant today will be some breezy winds with gusts to 30 mph possible. High: 74°

Monday Night: Mostly dry and partly cloudy, winds start to die down. Much cooler morning temps Low: 52°
 
Tuesday: Another round of showers looking to move in by late morning (across the Palouse) and early afternoon (Spokane, CDA, Northern Interior). Even cooler temps as a trough of low pressure settles in on top of us. High: 70°

    CHENEY, Wash. - Eastern Washington University Police are looking for the man responsible for the sexual assault of a female student over the weekend.  Campus police sent out a release Monday morning saying the assault happened on or near campus early Sunday morning, likely in Morrison Hall. Police are looking for a non-student named "Antoine" as a person of interest.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - The woman critically injured at the Ice Ribbon in Riverfront Park last week has passed away, according to family.  Over the weekend, the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department reported the woman had passed away, only to correct that release and say she was still in critical condition.

    PHILADELPHIA - Transit police say an overzealous Philadelphia Eagles fan whose attempt to rally subway passengers went viral when he ran into a concrete pole is OK. The mishap occurred as Philadelphia celebrated the Eagles' 38-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game Sunday night.
