TOLEDO, Ohio -

Here are six things you need to know about Saturday's matchup between Eastern Washington and Toledo:

Total yards allowed by Eastern in its 43-14 win over Western Oregon Sept. 7. According to goeags.com, it marked the fewest yards Eastern has allowed since Idaho State gained 179 yards in the final game of the 2006 season.

Quarterback Vernon Adams ranks No. 1 in the FCS with a 233.8 rating. He has completed 76% of his passes for 709 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions.

Average yards per game for the Eagles' offense, which somehow doesn't rank as tops in the FCS. They're third in passing (384.0), 15th in rushing (227.0) and eighth in scoring (46.0).

The Eagles give up an average of 30 points per game through two contests. This is inflated a bit by the 46 points given up at Oregon State.

Days off in between Saturday's game and Eastern's next game at Sam Houston St. on Sept. 28.

EWU's record in games played East of the Mississippi River. Their last win over there came in 2007 when the Eags topped Southern Illinois 35-31 in the 2004 FCS Playoffs.

EWU takes on Toledo at the Glass Bowl at 4:00 p.m. PT Saturday.
