Showing Off Paws For A Cause

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash.- The pooches of the Tri-Cities benefited from a fundraising effort Sunday.

Paws Natural Pet Emporium in Richland held "Paws For A Cause". Local car enthusiasts came to show off their cool rides. Businesses donated prizes for a raffle and some pooches were even giving out some smooches to raise funds for the four Tri-Cities animal shelters.

"This is to give back to the community and of course share awareness that we have several shelters that need any of the help they can get," said owner of Paws Natural Pet Emporium Dorothy Hunter.

"Paws For A Cause" raised at least $800. That's not including private donations submitted that were not yet counted.
