UPDATE: Walla Walla Police Say Man Accidentally Shot Himself in Pioneer Park

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-  Walla Walla Police say further investigation into the shooting revealed the victim accidentally shot himself.

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-  Walla Walla Police are looking for the suspects who shot and injured a man in the Pioneer Park area.

Officers say a 32-year-old man was walking in the area of Pioneer Park Saturday night when two Hispanic men confronted him.

Police say the altercation turned physical and one of suspects pulled out a handgun.

They say the victim began wrestling with him the gunman, when the gun went off and hit the victim in his lower leg.
     
The suspects ran off.

The victim was taken to the hospital the following morning and released with minor injuries.
