College Place Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Child Pornography

Posted: Updated:

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The man who founded the popular Facebook page "Walla Walla Sweet Onion" will spend ten years in prison.

A judge sentenced David N. Polk of College Place to a decade behind bars for taking nude photos of underaged girls in the 1980s.

He was convicted back in July of possessing and dealing in depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Polk was arrested in June of 2012 after he emailed images to a man he met on Facebook.

Polk said he was operating a modeling agency when the photos were taken and he said all the women were adults at the time.
