Posted: Updated:

The Washington State Cougars are proud of their 48-10 victory against Southern Utah University on Saturday, but are careful not to boast as they prepare for the upcoming match against University of Idaho.

Coach Mike Leach discussed Saturday's match up with Idaho, the win over Southern Utah and even some dating advice during Monday's press conference. Saturday represents a big game to both Cougs and Vandals, as the two universities are located only 7 miles apart. The schools have not played a football game against each other since 2007 and some call the upcoming match the "Battle of the Palouse."

Leach sees this battle no different from any other. "I don't pay a lot of attention to that. The fans always get it a little more than the teams do. You know, its our next opponent, we've gotta get a week better, we've gotta improve, we've still got plenty of work to do on film, I'm just excited to get at it."

Leach ended the press conference giving his own dating advice, "Try to take them somewhere where there's not salad, cause girls will try and show off by ordering a salad."
