Judge to Discuss Prison Future for Sexually Violent Criminal

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - A man convicted of multiple sexually violent crimes will face a Benton County judge and jury to determine if he should stay behind bars.

Stephen Robinson, 56, was set to be released from the state penitentiary in Walla Walla back in July. But the state Attorney General's Office says he's still a sexually violent predator.

Robinson is at a special commitment center on McNeil Island until his October 2014 trial date.
