11th Annual Smartmap Expo Returns to Pasco Sept. 26th

PASCO, Wash. -- The Tri-City Development Council is gearing up for its 11th annual Smartmap Manufacturing Exposition, the Magic of Manufacturing.

Service providers and manufacturers from throughout the Pacific Northwest will be networking and growing their businesses at this two-day event.

"I think you'll come to this event, you'll spend 2 to 3 hours there and you'll leave thinking 'I had no idea this type of creativity existed in this community.'  Well, it does and we want to showcase it!"

The tradeshow portion on Thursday, September 26th will have more than 140 vendors, and is free and open to the public. It runs from 9 to 4 at the TRAC Center in Pasco.

    Crews search for missing swimmer at Palouse Falls State Park

    FRANKLIN COUNTY- A man is still missing after swimming in the Palouse Falls Saturday.  Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies said the call came in around 5:30 p.m. about a possible drowning. Three men in their early 20s had been swimming in the pool of water below the falls. The strong current swept the three men underwater, and only two resurfaced.
