Two Men Facing Charges After Trying to Pawn Questionable Items in Pendleton

Posted: Updated:

PENDLETON, Ore. - Two men are facing charges after police arrested them while trying to pawn questionable items in Pendleton.

Hermiston police say they detained Trevor Smith, 25, of Colorado and Johnathan Haines, 30, of Oregon while inside a local pawn store, Columbia Outdoor. They say the men were in possession of tools, a gold watch, and a camera.

Although officers are still trying to confirm if all the items were stolen, they found out the two were driving a stolen van from Colorado.

Officers booked the two into the Umatilla County Jail while they continue the investigation.
