1,000 People Attend This Year's All Senior Picnic in Pasco

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. - It was an afternoon filled with food and dancing for about 1,000 people at the TRAC facility Thursday.

Thursday was the 20th year for the All Senior Picnic. This year's indoor picnic featured door prizes, vendor booths, dancing, and of course good food.

Seniors from Pasco, Kennewick and Richland attended, but each year the event is held in a different part of the Tri-Cities. But no matter the location, we're told it's always a great time and continues to get better.

"It gets better every year. The music gets better every year, the food gets better every year, we have excellent cooks in our kitchen. Its just a fantastic event. And it grows every year," said Pasco Senior Center Administrative Assistant Marie Schiefelbien.

Students from Tri-Tech and Tri-Cities Prep helped serve food and Bobby Sox and the Juke Box performed live.
