SWX's and O's: Washington State Vs. Idaho

Posted: Updated:
PULLMAN, Wash. - Here are six things you need to know about Washington State's upcoming game versus Idaho:

70-17-3

The Cougars have won 70 of a possible 90 contests against the Vandals of Idaho, a 77.7 winning percentage. According to wsucougars.com, Washington State has scored at least 25 points in each of the last eight meetings. The Cougs have won seven straight and 23 of the last 25. The team's last played in 2007, when WSU won 45-28 in Pullman. Idaho's last win was a 38-34 triumph in 2000, also in Pullman.

208

Senior Deone Bucannon ranks fifth in career solo tackles (208) in school history. His 300 total tackles places him just outside the top-10.

35

Kicker Andrew Furney moved up to sole possession of fourth place for the most field goal makes in program history after makes from 46 and 30 yards in last Saturday's 48-10 win over Southern Utah.

30

Career touchdown passes for Connor Halliday, good for eighth all time in WSU history. He matched his career high on Saturday with five against Southern Utah. He also had five last season against UCLA, joining Alex Brink as the only Cougar QB's with multiple five-TD games.

219

WSU's defense limited Southern Utah to only 219 total yards, and thanks to an impressive defensive showing the previous week against USC, it's the first time that WSU has held two straight opponents to less than 225 yards in total offense since 1994.

7

Career interceptions for senior cornerback Damante Horton. He returned an INT for a touchdown for the second straight week. Can he make it three weeks in a row against the Vandals? If he does he'll set a school record, as he is currently tied with former WSU cornerback Jason David with three pick-sixes.

WSU hosts Idaho this Saturday at Martin Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
