Warrant/3600 blk W Clearwater Ave- 27 year old male was located at the location. He
had an outstanding DOC warrant and was booked into jail by Officer Pitts.
Warrant/00 blk E 5th Ave-Officer Valdez and Sgt Genack assisted Juvenile Probation
locate and book a 15 year old female for an outstanding warrant. She was located and
booked into Juvenile.
Burglary/800 blk S Alder St- Complainant reported finding several items missing from
their residence between 04:30 and 07:30. No suspects or witnesses.
Burglary/100 blk N Johnson St- Sgt Genack and Officer Reynolds responded to an 11
year old female who had arrived home from school to find her home had been
burglarized. Suspect entered via an unlocked outside man door on the east side into the
garage where the suspect pried open the locked man door inside the garage to gain
entry to the residence. Witness check produced a neighbor who observed a black male
sporting "white and black hair", white shirt, and blue pants at about 0800 standing at
the victim's front door knocking. An unknown black car parked in front of the victim's
home may also be involved.
Warrant Service/2000 blk W 6thAve-Officer Pitts responded to a disturbance call.
While there she contacted a 23 year old male who had an outstanding warrant and was
arrested and booked into jail for it.
Disturbance, Warrant Service & Possession Stolen Property/1000 blk W 4thAve-Officer
Zinsli responded to a disturbance involving a 33 year old transient male. He was located
by Officer Zinsli several blocks away without his mountain bike he was supposed to be
on. A records check confirmed he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Sgt Genack
located the bike the suspect was on and a records check on that came back stolen from
a recent theft case. He was booked for the warrant and Possession of Stolen Property.
Criminal Trespass/3000 blk W 4thAve- Female wandered into the apartments and tried
to get into an unoccupied car near the "G" building. When unsuccessful, she wandered off and grabbed a plastic table from the patio of a neighboring apartment and walked
back to the car where officers met her. She was obviously impaired and was booked on
Theft and Criminal Trespass.
Disturbance/4700 blk W Metaline Ave-Officer Greenough responded to a disturbance
call involving two sisters. One of them had four warrants and the other had one. Both
were arrested and booked on their warrants.
Assault DV/800 blk S Olympia- Complainant reported that he husband grabbed her
wrists and forced them into her chest. She also reported that he raised his fist to her
but did not strike her. She said he had also grabbed her wrists a few nights prior. He
was booked for Assault DV and an Order was granted.
Suspicious Circumstance/1100 blk W 52ndAve-Officer Bennett responded. Male
reported that he was walking northbound on Olympia when a dark colored Mustang hit
him knocking him down. He had a bruised eye and an abrasion on his side, but the
injuries did not appear to be consistent with his story. Medics transported the male to
KGH who confirmed his injuries were not from being struck by a vehicle. His family
responded to KGH and his brother reported that the victim uses meth and had used
today. The brother said he and the victim fought today around 2130 hours.
Narcotics/1000 blk W 4thAve-Officer Kiel saw a male riding a bicycle with no light and
contacted him. Officer Kiel asked the male for his name and the male said he has a
constitutional right not to give his name. Officer Kiel said he was contacting him for
violating a traffic law and asked for his name again. He refused and demanded to see
the RCW. Officer Kiel started to detain the male and pulled away. Officer Kiel told
Brown he was under arrest and he continued to actively resist the arrest. Brown was
handcuffed and search incident to the arrest Heroin was located on his person. He was
booked at the BCSO Jail for Obstructing, Resisting Arrest and a Warrant for his arrest.
The Heroin was sent to the Lab pending results. The male said he was sorry for resisting
arrest, he said he has problems with authority. He was given a copy of the RCW he had
Theft/900 blk S Auburn- Female took a wheel chair from the above location a few days
ago. Officer Harris contacted her at Kennewick and Vista. She also has two warrants for
her arrest. She has suffered several heart attacks recently. Judge was contacted and
waived the arrest but asked to have her advised that she need to go to Franklin County
and take care of the warrants since he already waived arresting her for a Richland PD
case as well. The wheelchair was recovered and returned to KGH. She was issued a
citation for stealing the chair.
Theft/1300 blk N Columbia Center Blvd-Officer Greenough responded. Male took
shirts from the location without paying and was detained by mall security. He said he
saw the shirts and wanted the shirts and took them. He said he stole the shirts because
he did not want to waste money buying them. A JCR was completed and he was turned
over to his father.
Theft/800 blk W Klamath- Complainant reported that an unknown suspect took the air
conditioning unit from the location. The unit is worth about $150.00.
Order Violation/2000 blk W 9th Pl- Complainant reported that her granddaughter was at
her door kicking it and yelling. There is a protection order in place between the two.
The granddaughter fled prior to police arrival but was contacted later. She denied being
at the location in spite of her grandmother seeing her and the person that drove her
said he took her there. She did admit calling her to ask for money. She told officers that
they should not take her to jail because she just got out of jail. She was booked for an
Warrant Arrest/Ely & SR 395- CAT stopped a vehicle at this location and arrested a 23
year old male for nine felony warrants. He was booked into Benton County Jail.
Warrant Arrest/2400 Blk W Clearwater Ave-Detectives attempted a field contact on a
31 year old male. Upon contact he fled on foot and caught a short distance later. He was
arrested for five felony warrants and POACS/Meth. He was booked into Benton County
