Pasco High Dance Fundraiser Features California Dancers

PASCO, Wash.

A Los Angeles dance group is busting a move to help some local dancers!

Hip-hop dancers Kinjaz performed at Pasco High Friday to help raise money for the school's 25-member dance team. Kinjaz is known for their unique ability to tell a story through music and dance; a style not seen too often in our area.

"I think it will open the communities eyes on hip-hop and dance in general. It's becoming bigger, and we just wanted to have Washington, not a well known state for dance, to have the experience," said Pasco High School Dance Captain Alyssa Parra.

The Pasco High School dance team will have another fundraiser Saturday night. It's a meet and greet dinner with Kinjaz in the Pasco High cafeteria from 6-7:30 p.m.

It costs $10, but all the money raised will go toward the team's choreography, costume and travel costs for competitions.
