RICHLAND, Wash.- In Richland plenty of people came out to the annual Christ of The King Sausage Fest this weekend.
It is the main fundraising event for the school. The entire production is put on by volunteers. There is about 2000 in total from the setup to breaking down the booths. Admission is free and it includes plenty of games for kids and the whole family, over 30 different food options and indoor and outdoor beer gardens.
"It's become more of a community event," explained Bob Voke, the general chairman. "We have people coming from all over the district to come and join us here. We have fun for all the family, which is the theme for our event. It's a big event for the school."
The festival came to a close at midnight on Saturday. If you missed out, there's always next year. The annual event has been running for decades.
