RICHLAND, Wash. - An upcoming walk and fun run has a serious message behind it.

Tri-Cities Soroptimist has organized the run Saturday at Columbia Point Marina park to raise awareness about human trafficking.

The justice department says sexual exploitation of children is the fastest growing and one of the most profitable of organized crimes. Department statistics report thousands of children are enslaved.
