VICTORIA, B.C. -

The Chiefs are 1-0-0-0 as they head to Victoria for the first of two back-to-back games against the Royals. Game time is 7:05 p.m for both games.

Fans can follow the game live on the radio as 1510 KGA will carry the broadcast, beginning with the pre-game show at 6:30 p.m. You can also follow the game live via WHL Live or by following the Chiefs on Twitter (@chiefshockey).

Tuesday night will be the first of four meetings between the two teams this year. Victoria will visit Spokane on October 19th and January 3rd.

The Chiefs were 3-1-0-0 vs. Victoria last season, including a 2-0-0-0 record on the road. Mitch Holmberg scored 5 points on 3 goals and 2 assists against the Royals last season, while Mike Aviani scored 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points. Goaltender Eric Williams was 2-1-0-0 vs. Victoria last season, allowing 9 goals on 84 shots. Garret Hughson was 1-0-0-0 vs. the Royals, allowing 4 goals on 42 shots.

Last season, the Chiefs were 3-0 against the Royals when scoring first, but 0-1 when Victoria netted the first goal. Power plays were important between the two squads last year, as the Chiefs scored on 6 of 15 opportunities (40%) and the Royals scored on 5 of 22 (22.7%). Each team scored one shorthanded goal on the other.

The Chiefs return to Spokane on Saturday, September 28, for Bud Light Opening Night vs. Tri-City.
