KENNEWICK, Wash. - A woman from Kennewick is now in the Benton County Jail after police say they found her carrying drugs in a stolen car.

Kennewick Police say early Wednesday morning, the Kennewick Police Criminal Apprehension Team saw 26-year-old Kelli Dawn Loomis in a Honda Accord at 4th Place and Olympia Street.

Officers say the Accord had been reported stolen on Tuesday from the parking lot of a Pasco apartment complex.

Detectives say when they searched the vehicle, they found methamphetamine, a digital scale and packaging material.

Officers arrested and booked Loomis for possession of stolen property and methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
