United Plane Conducts Emergency Landing In Boise

Posted: Updated:

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - An airport spokeswoman says a United Airlines flight has conducted an emergency landing in Boise.

Boise airport spokeswoman Patti Miller says a heart attack on-board United flight 1603 prompted the emergency landing just before 8 p.m. on Thursday. The flight originated in Houston and was headed to Seattle.

Miller says reports were that the flight's captain suffered the heart attack and was taken to a local hospital. An inquiry with United Airlines confirming the report was not immediately returned.

Miller says the flight's passengers are now at a terminal waiting for United to coordinate a flight to Seattle.
