YAKIMA, Wash. -- One animal on display at this year's Central Washington Fair almost didn't make it.
Her name is Bella. She's a 7-month-old grizzly cub.
Before the fair she was raised as a pet in California. When the family couldn't care for her anymore she was going to being euthanized.
Walk On The Wild Side saved Bella who turns out to have a sweet tooth.
"Boy does she love to eat," Steve Higgs Executive Director of Walk on the Wild Side said. "I tell ya her favorite thing is gummy bears which we don't give her too often but she does love those gummy bears."
When Bella grows to be a full sized grizzly she will be too big and strong to travel so she will stay at home at the wildlife compound.
Walk On The Wild Side has plenty of exotic wildlife for the whole family to see through the end of the fair on Sunday.
