KENNEWICK, Wash.-The area between the Cable Bridge and Clover Island Drive in Kennewick could get a makeover.
The City and Port of Kennewick are inviting the public to learn more about the Columbia Drive Revitalization Project Tuesday night. There will be scale model examples and architecture renderings to show possible approaches to building up the waterfront area. The city hopes to connect Clover Island into the Historic Downtown Kennewick area.
"This is a great partnership opportunity to continue with that area of town and provides a safe and wonderful place to come visit in our community," said Evelyn Lusignan, the manager of public relations for the City of Kennewick.
The meeting is open to the general public and will starts Tuesday night at 6:30 at the Clover Island Inn.
