Summary of Incident:
On 09/30/13 at 2043 hours, a concerned citizen called 911 to report that 2 subjects were looking into parked cars and trying door handles in the parking lot of 1105 W. 10th Avenue (Hawaiian Village Apartment complex). Officers responded and detained the two males. Both males were in possession of electronic items and a woman's wallet. An investigation ensued and Officers determined that the items were stolen from cars parked at 1105 W. 10th Avenue. Both males were booked into the Juvenile Justice Center for vehicle prowling and theft.
The Kennewick Police again remind residents to not leave valuables unattended in their vehicles and especially don't leave your vehicle unlocked. Thieves are opportunistic and are always on the lookout for an easy heist.
