PASCO, Wash. - Goodwill opened the doors for the first time Thursday at it's new location in Pasco to nearly a hundred customers.
The new facility on Court Street will allow for more retail space and an on-site Goodwill job training center. The facility has been in the works for the last two years and staff says it's more centralized and has more room for merchandise as well as parking.
It also has a covered drive-through area for donations.
"It's more important that we are able to serve more people in our community. Our community has been very generous with us and changing lives through the power of work. We really feel it's important to give back to the community and be able to serve more people," said Joy Murphy, Goodwill Director of Retail.
The new Pasco location has about 3,000 more square feet of retail floor than their previous downtown location.
