Spokane Valley To Regulate Skimpy Baristas

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) - Spokane Valley City Council members told a packed meeting Thursday they would like an ordinance regulating nearly nude baristas at coffee stands.

The city attorney will draft a resolution for future council action.

The Spokane City Council declined to pass a similar proposal earlier this week in the neighboring city.

The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/176vgyq ) one Spokane Valley coffee stand that has drawn protests prompted the Central Valley School Board to change bus routes so students don't catch a glimpse of the baristas.
