Malicious Mischief/200 blk E 8th Pl- Complainant reported that sometime during the
night, an unknown subject(s) shot his red Jeep numerous times with what appeared to
be a BB gun. The front windshield was cracked and there were also several dents/chips
on the driver's door. No leads or suspects.
Order Violation/2100 blk N Steptoe- Dispatch advised of a male caller reporting
difficulty breathing at the location. Officers were close and made contact prior to
medics to assist in what they thought would be a medical issue. There were two males
at the location who were not initially cooperative with Officers. The males were
identified and in a dating relationship. There is a no contact order between the two
from a previous domestic. One subject was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant and
court order violation. There was no medical issue.
Accident Hit & Run Attended/10th & Rainier- Officers responded to a two car collision at
the intersection caused by a vehicle failing to yield pulling onto 10th from the south side
of the intersection. An eastbound vehicle, driven by the suspect, on 10th collided with
the vehicle that pulled out in front of him. He fled the scene on foot and was located a
short time later by responding Officers. His girlfriend stayed at the scene and told
Officers that she was the one driving along with providing a false name for the driver.
She was arrested for Obstructing. He charged with DWLS and Hit & Run.
Warrant Arrest/1100 blk W 10th Ave- Officers received information through dispatch
that a wanted male was at the location. He had two local warrants with one being out
of Kennewick. He was arrested and booked without incident.
Warrant Arrest/7000 bl W Canal Dr- Store loss prevention flagged down an Officer that
was in the area. They had two subjects leave the store that they suspected of shoplift.
Officers contacted one leaving in a vehicle and the other that had fled on foot to the
transit station. There was only evidence to charge that male at the transit station with shoplift. This male was identified and was additionally booked on 3 local arrest

Warrant Arrest/4800 blk W Clearwater- Officers obtained information that a 20 year
old gang member was in the area. He has 8 local warrants. Officers located him walking
along the canal behind the trailer park with a girl. Officers were concerned about a flee
attempt into the school which had children present. The suspect was contacted and
ordered to the ground under threat of Taser if any flee attempt made. He cooperated
and was booked on his warrants and the marijuana found on his person.
Felony Assault/2800 blk W Kennewick Ave- Officers responded to reports of a male at
the location causing a disturbance by cursing at customers. The male was identified and
had been asked to leave the location by the Store Manager prior to police response.
The suspect aggressively walked out to the first arriving Officer in a manner that a
witness advised she was scared for the Officer. He failed to comply with commands to
stop and was knocked to the ground. He stayed seated as directed and with a second
Officer on scene was arrested for obstructing. The suspect then refused to get into the
patrol car, fighting against Officers attempts to get him into the car. He was held onto
the ground and assistance was requested from BCSO Deputy with a full cage car. He
was transported by BCSO to KGH for a small laceration to his face and then to jail and
booked for obstructing, resisting, and assault 3.
Auto Theft/400 blk N Arthur St- Officer Meiners contacted the complainant by phone in
reference to an auto theft report. He reported that he had become intoxicated and fell
asleep in his apartment. When he woke up he found his vehicle missing. He believes a
white male who lives in the area of Kennewick & Tweedt stole the vehicle. The area was
checked but the vehicle was not located. The 1992 blue Chevy Caprice (WA/ AAA9470)
entered as stolen.
Vehicle Prowl/1100 blk W 10th Ave- Officers responded to this complex in reference to
a vehicle prowl in progress. Two reporting parties advised that a group of males were
attempting to make entry into vehicles in the parking lot. Officers Kuehny and Melone
arrived in the area and contacted two subjects. Both males advised that they were not
prowling and were just walking through the complex. One had a backpack on which he
opened up and removed a computer, phone, GPS and other electronic items. A wallet
was observed in the backpack which was found to belong to a female who lived at the
complex. The female victim was contacted and advised the wallet was stolen out of her
vehicle. The wallet contained cash and a credit card. Both suspects were arrested and
booked into juvenile for Possession of Stolen Property 1st, vehicle prowl, possession of
drug paraphernalia, false reporting and outstanding felony warrants.
Child Sex/4800 blk W Clearwater Ave-Officers responded to this residence in reference
to a disturbance in progress. The residents awoke and found a 25 year old male hiding
under the bed of their 15 year old daughter. The mother and father detained the male
until police arrived. The juvenile female admitted that the male is her boyfriend and the
two had just had sex. Statements were obtained from the victim and family. The victim
was taken to KGH where a sexual assault exam was completed. Suspect was booked
into the Benton County Jail for rape of a child 3rd. Case forwarded to Investigations.
