Kennewick Bank Staff Prepares for Saturday's Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome

Kennewick, WA.- People throughout the area are getting ready for the annual Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia Buddy Walk on Saturday.

Today, Numerica Credit Union staff in Kennewick wore their hand-made shirts in support of their 8-year-old buddy Jacen Davis, whose brother Ashton Davis works as a teller.

Ashton said Jacen is always the center of attention and the Buddy Walk is a fun annual event for their family.

"It's amazing to see other families in the community who also have a member of their family who has down syndrome and to have that kind of support and to see how much love there actually is out there is amazing," said Ashton Davis.

Registration for the buddy walk begins at 10 a.m. Saturday morning it be at Howard Amon Park in Richland. Proceeds support the Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia.
