SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

KHQ.COM - A high speed chase spanning two states has ended in Spokane Valley with one man in custody. The chase happened Saturday morning in Idaho and ended in the westbound lanes of I-90 and Evergreen.

The chase started when officers spotted a male driver in a stolen vehicle, but when they tried to stop him, he took off.

The chase topped 100 mph at times even though the suspect's vehicle had a flat tire.

A Spokane County Deputy received minor injuries after colliding with the suspect's vehicle.  A couple of county police cars were also damaged.

The suspect has been taken into custody.  The I-90 West ramp at Evergreen was closed for a couple hours during the investigation.   It has been reopened.
