Selah Elementary Kids Say No to Bullying

Posted: Updated:

SELAH, WA.--Robert Lince Elementary School in Selah is once again sending a message that they won't tolerate bullying.

Community leaders including the mayor and police chief, joined teachers to speak with young kids about the consequences of their words and actions.

The Selah Junior High Leadership Team also performed several skits showing students how to be positive and respectful to others.

"The part that's so easy and sometimes so hard is to be kind to others," said Suzan Kelley, the School Counselor. "If we were nice to everybody here, there wouldn't be any bullying and we wouldn't have to worry about bullying."

Staffers and students were asked to wear blue Monday to show solidarity against bullying behaviors.
