C-Shift

 
Warrant Arrest/1000 blk N Cleveland- Officers responded to the location for a reported
disturbance. Female was angry that her mother had previously called the police about
her having a warrant, was yelling and screaming that she would have her gang friends
get them. She was contacted at the location and arrested for her Juvenile Warrant.

Vehicle Prowl/200 blk S Penn- Complainant reported sometime last night, someone
rummaged thru her parent`s 2009 Acura MDX. She stated nothing was taken from the
vehicle and she only wanted to report that the incident occurred.
 
Theft/700 blk S Penn- Complainant reported that he retrieved his gun case to inspect
his Glock 23, and found it to be missing from the case. He last saw the firearm in the
second week of June when he went shooting. He suspects that his nephew took the
firearm, but has no proof, only stating that he knew where he kept the firearm, and had
stayed at his residence for 2 days in June. The weapon has been entered as stolen.
 
Theft of Bicycle/00 blk E 5th- A custom bicycle, 26 inch beach cruiser style bicycle, royal
blue in color with, "Sun cruiser" in silver and white letters, was taken from the yard of
the location sometime last night. No leads or suspects.
 
Indecent Liberties/100 blk S Ely- Employee reported, sometime between 1230 and 1245
hours, she was working alone. During that time, an unknown male customer driving a
black 1996 Honda or Acura (black paint was peeling) pulled up to the window. The male
ordered a coffee. As she was making the coffee, the male exited his vehicle. She told
him to get back in his vehicle. The male said he only wanted to receive the coffee. The
male then reached out and grabbed her right forearm. She pulled her arm back and told
the male to stop. The male half heartedly apologized. She finished making the coffee.
She reached to hand the male his coffee. When she did, the male reached out and
grabbed her left breast. She responded by throwing the hot coffee (150 degree) on the
male. The male got in his vehicle and drove away. She described the male as being a
Hispanic, 24-25-years-old, 5-03 to 5-04, about 125-130 lbs, short, faded hair cut,
wearing a black hoodie and black pants. Case linked to Investigations.
 
Warrant Arrest/Columbia Park- Officer Kuhn responded to the skate park for a report
of a suspicious male in the area. On arrival he contacted a male who was found to have
a felony warrant out of Columbia County. He was arrested and booked without
incident.
 
Assault DV/3500 blk W Hood- Officers responded to the location for a male that stated
he had been assaulted by a subject at the location. The investigation revealed, after
getting in an argument over a drug test. One subject punched another in the face after
he refused to provide a UA. He was arrested and booked.
 
A-Shift
 
Warrant Service/300 blk E 9th Pl- Officers received information that female was at the
location and she had an outstanding arrest warrant. She was contacted and arrested as
she was leaving the area in a vehicle.

Disorderly Conduct/400 blk Clover Island Dr- Officers responded in reference to a
female causing a disturbance. She was here from California for a wedding. She got high
on meth and began causing a disturbance by yelling at patrons and knocking on doors.
She was arrested and booked for disorderly conduct.
 
Burglary/1100 blk N Cleveland St- On 10/06/2013 at 0319 hours officers responded to a
burglary that had just occurred. The victim reported that she awoke to the sound of
someone inside her residence. When she walked into the living room she discovered a
male sitting on her sofa which he had pushed up against the front door. She told him to
leave but he refused to do so. She attempted to exit the residence through the rear
door but he pushed her and held the door shut. The victim's son was outside and heard
the commotion. He tried to get into the apartment through the rear sliding glass door
but the suspect held the door shut to prevent him from entering. The suspect then fled
out the front door with the victim's son following him. Armed with a bat he caught up
to the suspect and struck him a couple of times. The suspect dropped a phone he had
taken from the residence and continued to flee. The son was able to call 911 and give
officers a description and direction the suspect was last seen going. Officer Rosane
arrived in the area and located the suspect at Canal Dr and Edison St. The suspect was
arrested without further incident. He was high on meth and reported that he was being
chased and that is why he entered the apartment. He was booked into the Benton
County Jail for burglary 1st degree.
 
Assault DV/3700 blk W 7th Ave- Officer Rees responded to this residence in reference to
an assault that had just occurred. Complainant reported that she and her boyfriend had
been arguing. She started crying and he shoved her down on the bed. When she
attempted to leave the room he shoved her again causing her to fall and break a mirror.
He was arrested and booked for assault 4th DV. No contact order was issued.
