Kennewick Police Department: Daily Briefing: Sunday, October 6, 2013

C-Shift

 
Assault DV/Kennewick Area- Complainant called 911 to report that she had just been
assaulted in her vehicle, and the suspect, her husband had gone into a house. She
informed dispatch that he often carries a firearm and knives with him. She stated prior
to going into the house he had a handgun on him. Dispatch was able to determine that
she was in the area of 4th and Quincy, and she was located in her vehicle, parked in the
1500 blk 4th Ave. A short time after arrival, Officer Littrell located the suspect and
detained him. He was found to be in possession of a Kel-Tec 9mm pistol and an illegal
knife. He does not have a CPL. The victim was contacted and it was determined her
husband had punched her repeatedly in the left arm after she attempted to turn the
vehicle stereo down. There was noticeable bruising and Officers first believed her arm to be broken. She was transported to KGH where ER staff learned the arm was not
broken. Suspect was booked for the weapons violation and Assault DV. He was booked.

A-Shift
 
Assault/8300 blk W Gage Blvd- Officers responded in reference to a fight in progress.
SECOMM advised that multiple people were inside the bar fighting. As officers were
arriving most of the involved parties had left the bar. Male reported he and his group
was watching the game when another group of Hispanic males threw beer on him and
hit him in the head with a glass. Multiple people were in the bar at the time but no one
could provide a good statement about what happened and no one wanted to be
involved. He believes the suspect who hit him lives in the Grandview area. Follow up
continuing.
 
 
Threats/100 blk N Conway St- Officer Rosane contacted complainant in reference to a
threats report. She reported that she and her ex-boyfriend had been texting back and
forth regarding relationship issues. He became angry and stated that he would kick in
her door and shoot her and her male roommate. He also made comments that
suggested he had been following her. He was not located and an ATL was issued. The
report has been forwarded to the BCPA for charging. It should be noted the suspect has
an outstanding warrant and has officer safety in regarding making previous threats.

    19 year old Travis Dean LeMaster was taken into custody Tuesday evening, June 9, 2015 in the 2400 blk of West Court Street in Pasco WA on charges of 1st Degree Robbery. LeMaster was wanted in connection with the June 6, 2015 Armed robbery that took place in the parking lot of Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick, Washington. Investigators, following up an anonymous tip and with assistance of Pasco Police, located LeMaster and took him into custody.More >>

    On 4/23/2015 at 19:45 Shopko employees saw Jackie Sue Rolph concealing merchandise in a large bag. She left the story without paying for the items to a vehicle waiting for her in the parking log. She entered the vehicle and left the area. A KPD officer arrived in the area and saw the vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and contacted the occupants. A search warrant was served on the vehicle and all the stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to Shopko.
