UNION GAP, WA.--Some national recognition for a Union Gap company.

Liberty Bottleworks recently accepted an award for pollution prevention. Liberty's Bottles are made from 100 percent recycled aluminum and manufactured in a zero-waste factory.

The Company's Co-Founder, Ryan Clark, said they recently traveled to Washington D.C. to accept the award and met with Senator Patty Murray and Congressman Doc Hastings.

"It helps shed light and bring recognition to the fact that here, right in the Yakima Valley, we can not only make products domestically but we can make it in a cutting edge way," said Clark.

Clark said it's great to be recognized for their efforts, and they hope to inspire local companies to do the same.
