Weekend Drivers Over I-90 Near Ellensburg Could Face Hour Delay

Posted: Updated:

ELLENSBURG, WA. -  Drivers traveling over I-90 near Ellensburg this weekend may face some delays.

The state Department of Transportation says westbound drivers on Friday and Saturday should plan for delays up to an hour due to single lane traffic. The same goes for drivers traveling eastbound on Sunday.

Drivers can use alternate routes State Route 970, US 97, or State Route 10.

Crews are repairing the bridge deck on the Dry Creek Bridge. Although crews are working during the week and on Sunday nights, traffic cannot be diverted back onto the bridge deck until work is completed this month.

WSDOT delayed work on the bridge until after Labor Day when traffic volumes are lower.
