Children on the Way to School in Wenatchee Find Body

UPDATE (10/14/13): WENATCHEE, WA -  The Chelan County coroner says the man found dead in a ditch in Wenatchee on Thursday drowned accidentally.

Coroner Wayne Harris says it's unclear how 38-year-old Michael W. Andruss of East Wenatchee ended up in the culvert, but alcohol was a contributing factor.

The body was found by children on their way to school about a block from Foothills Middle School.

WENATCHEE, WA - Children on their way to school Thursday morning found a man's body in a drainage ditch in Wenatchee.

The body was about a block away from Foothills Middle School; police are investigating.
