Union Gap Corn Maze Bigger and Better

Posted: Updated:

UNION GAP, WA.--If you're looking for some Halloween entertainment near Yakima, the Union Gap Corn Maze is back and better than ever.

On Saturday, they're hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Part of the days proceeds will support North Star Lodge and the Memorial Foundation. You can also participate in the annual Zombie Walk.

Organizers said they like to include these events to keep a steady flow of visitors.

"We get a lot of repeat people coming through," said Lewis Gress. "See some people eight to ten times during the whole season, which is awesome."

Organizers said they also added laser tag this year, which is a big hit with the kids. There's also two new food vendors to give families a little more variety.

WASHINGTON: It's barely pumpkin latte season and already signs are up advertising *flu* shots! One vaccine that's been off the market for a couple years is back this year. Two years ago the nasal spray vaccine was taken off the market because the Center for Disease Control said it was no longer effective for that particular flu season.
