YAKIMA, WA. -- The third Fall Clean-Up helped make Yakima look a little nicer today.
The event allows anyone to come and bring their unwanted items for recycling or trash removal. One father-daughter team went above and beyond this time making nearly 10 trips into Yakima picking up trash in people's front yards.
They found a long list of things they could recycle.
"We picked up about thirty or forty tires from alleyways," Bob Bohannon said. "Couches, chairs, stools, it's a little bit of everything."
The final Fall Clean-Up is scheduled for November 2nd to clean up the area North of Tieton Drive between 40th Avenue and 1st Street.
