See Pumpkins Fly Through The Air at Thompson's Farm

Posted: Updated:

NACHES, WA-- With Halloween coming up, it just might be time to pick out your pumpkin if you have not already, and in Naches you can do that and see one get shot out of a cannon.

Every weekend in October you can go to Thompson's Farm to pick out your pumpkin, see pumpkins get shot out of a cannon every hour, go though a corn maze, and get some homemade donuts.

The owner of Thompson's Farm said he does this because he knows people will enjoy the experience.

"Our business is growing on a year to year basis. We try to accommodate the family unit, keep it very family-oriented.  Everything on the farm is usually built from farm surplus equipment and I think people come to realize it's a place to go back home again," said owner John Thompson.

Thompson said there is no admission to get into the farm, and you only need reservations if you are a large group.

It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

They also do school tours where kids can pick out their own pumpkin.
