Hastings Pasco Office Gets Visit From Protestors

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA - While congress works to get the government reopen, angry protesters met Tuesday in front of Representative Doc Hastings' office in Pasco.

They are organized through the national group moveon.org. Besides just holding up sign, the group had in depth discussions to voice their opinions and anger. Then the group made their way into the Congressman's office to speak with whoever would listen.

"I'm here today to remind Doc Hastings what democracy is all about," explained Nik Foster, one of the protestor. "That's to vote. It's not to sit on his hands and just watch as our economy is slowly tanking."

However, Representative Hastings was not at his Pasco office. He is in Washington D.C. like the majority of congress. The group asked for contact info so they can call and send emails to the Congressman to share their opinions.
