KENNEWICK, WA. - Students at Southridge High School in Kennewick formed a giant ribbon Friday morning in support of breast cancer.
More than 1,600 people, including some cancer survivors, stretched from goal to goal to create the symbol on the school's soccer field. The human ribbon creation is a six-year tradition that started between all the high schools in Kennewick.
A former Southridge student flew his plane overhead to snap pictures of the giant ribbon.
