Obama Administration: About 476K Affordable Care Act Applications Filed

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Obama administration officials say about 476,000 insurance applications have been filed through new health-care exchanges.

It's the most detailed measure yet of the problem-plagued rollout of President Barack Obama's signature legislation. The officials, speaking anonymously, still refuse to say how many people have actually enrolled in the insurance markets.

    NBC NEWS - Federal immigration authorities said Friday they were investigating why an Oregon man was arrested after agents entered the home he was working in without a search warrant. The arrest Thursday of the man — identified later as Carlos Bolanos, 32 — was captured by his co-worker while they were painting the inside of a private home in Portland, Oregon.
