Saluting The Brave: Dedication Ceremony Honors Veterans

Posted: Updated:

A dedication ceremony for veterans who served throughout history was held today at Veterans Memorial Park in Benewah County.

There was a strong turnout at the dedication today. The county has three Medal of Honor recipients, including Lloyd McCarter,  Gregory "Pappy" Boyington,  and Vernon Baker.

The local community band and choir performed at the ceremony, as the crowd gave thanks to those who have served and continue to protect our country today.
