UPDATE: Malley's Pharmacy in Richland Open after Crash

UPDATE: RICHLAND, WA - The owners of a pharmacy in Richland say they will be open today after a woman crashed her car into the building Wednesday.

Malley's Pharmacy will open today at 9:00am and will be open for regular business hours.

Richland Police say 64 year old Glenda Eaton accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes crashing her car into the front of the business.

Eaton was taken to the hospital to be checked out and was released shortly after.

 

RICHLAND, WA. - Richland police are investigating after a 64-year-old women drove her car into a pharmacy in Richland on Tuesday.

Officers say around 1 p.m. Glenda Eaton, from Benton City, drove into Malley's Pharmacy, located at 1906 George Washington Way. Investigators say the car want about halfway inside and the front wall of the building is heavily damaged.

Paramedics took Eaton to Kadlec Regional Medical Center to be checked out. No one in the store was injured.

The store is closed for now while firefighters check for additional damage.
