Spokane, WA — The Spokane Indians announced today that Tim Hulett will return to the team as Manager for the seventh consecutive season. Hulett is the longest tenured manager in the 110-year history of the Indians.

Hulett was originally named manager of the Indians in 2007, and quickly impressed by leading the team to the Northwest League title the following year, 2008. In 2010, with highly-touted  Texas Rangers prospects such as Jurickson Profar and Mike Olt, Hulett led the Indians back to the Championship round for a runner-up finish.

"I'm excited to come back to Spokane for another season," said Hulett. "The fans, the ballpark and the staff give us the best chance to take home another NWL Championship trophy."

Hulett has been honored by the NWL twice in his tenure in Spokane, being named Manager of the Year in both '08 and '10.

During the offseason, Hulett spends his time at home in Shrevport, La., coaching Evangel Christian Academy's high school baseball team. He has led the Evangel Eagles to state titles in '06, '09 and '11.

The Spokane Indians open the 2014 regular season on Friday, June 13th at Avista Stadium against the Eugene Emeralds.
