Washington's Most Wanted Fugitive Returns to Tri-Cities

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA. -A Pasco man featured on the television program Washington's Most Wanted earlier this year returned to the Tri-Cities Thursday.

Richard Linderman, 40, is now serving eight years at the Coyote Ridge Correctional Center in Connell.

Department of Corrections officers drove Linderman to the Benton County Justice Center as attorneys corrected a minor error on the sentencing paperwork.

Linderman plead guilty in August to second-degree assault.

Prosecutors say he shot at his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend during a confrontation in Richland on New Year's Day. No one was hurt.

Linderman surrendered to the Department of Corrections after he says he saw himself on the television program, which features the state's top fugitives.
