YAKIMA, WA-- A teenager suspected of killing a man at the Yakima Transit Center pleaded guilty Friday.

16-year old Daniel Perez agreed to a plea deal.  In court Friday, Perez pleaded guilty to charges of second degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.  In exchange, prosecutors agreed to drop first degree murder charges against him.

Prosecutors said Perez shot 26-year-old Octavio Rangel five times during a fight outside the Yakima Transit Center in October 2012.

Perez will be sentenced next month.
