ELLENSBURG, WA - Governor Jay Inslee was the keynote speaker Tuesday at Central Washington University's annual "Economic Outlook Conference."The governor talked about water rights, education and many other issues affecting economic growth. He also addressed big opportunities for local businesses, including those in the wine industry."We have such capability with wine," said Gov. Inslee. "We think we can double the production of wine and fill Asia with the best wine in the world grown right here in the State of Washington."The governor also spoke in detail about the importance of transportation. He may call a special session for the State Legislature later this fall to address the transportation budget.
