YAKIMA, WA -- Firefighters save lives every day, but a new piece of equipment helped Yakima Firefighters save a very special life.

A firefighter shot a video while giving oxygen to Thor, a German Shepherd that was caught in a fire in Terrace Heights for nearly 30 minutes.

The Fire Department was able to use it's new pet oxygen mask which was donated to the East Valley Fire Department by the Yakima Valley Veterinary Clinic last year.

Thor went to the vet the next day and was given a clean bill of health.
