PASCO, WA-- Our Coats for Kids program needs your help to meet the growing demand this year.

The Salvation Army has already given out 1,300 coats so far. That's more than double the coats they gave away by this time last year. And their stocks are very low.

They say they desperately need more girls coats, which make up only 25% of their inventory right now.

"Coats that your children have outgrown. Girl coats, please. Just donate them to the Salvation Army, they're given right back out to the people that need them," said Delia Aguilar, Salvation Army.

Aguilar says the Pasco Salvation Army has already given coats to 60 families this week.

The Yakima Salvation Army says they only have 20 coats to give away right now.
